INTRODUCING Hardwood Mills Australia's new Portable Band Saw Sawmill.
The Gt34 has a revolutionary deep gullet to enable you to cut 18 inches (457 millimetres) in depth.
It is perfect for quarter sawing. It also gives users the ability to leave their slabs on top and just keep milling.
The Gt34 takes a 34in (863mm) diameter log and the widest board width is 660mm or 26in.
Powered by a 18hp V twin and with 6 metres of track, the Gt34 is a beast!!
With a bi-metal blade fitted users can mill Ironbark, Box, all Aussie hardwoods as well as exotic timbers.
"The beauty of using a band saw is the diversity," Hardwood Mills Australia's Kerry Moring said.
"You can mill all dimensional timbers such as 4x2s, beams, re-saw, and millimetre-perfect laminates as well as slab.
"Another bonus of using a band saw is you get very little wastage due to the thin kerf of the blade 1.85mm.
"The Gt34 also has a trailer package available so it is fully portable.
"Band saw sawmills are preferred by fine furniture makes because of the very smooth finish."
The Gt34 is for sale for $8500, including GST.
