The highlight of the annual rural calendar - AgQuip - is back bigger than ever this year.
And it's still free for visitors.
Australia's premier field days at Gunnedah has a "full house" again. Every exhibit site has been filled and every inch of space allocated.
Organisers are delighted because it signals continued faith in a rural sector despite the drought conditions.
"This is a positive sign," said Australian Community Media's Rural Events group manager Kate Nugent.
"Companies that haven't been with us for a while have returned, existing companies have expanded their display areas and the demand from new exhibitors has been significant."
Bumper crowds are expected through the gates on August 20, with a record amount of more than 800 exhibitors, and 3000 companies on site. The field days have had more than 100,000 visitors in recent years.
Gunnedah's accommodation is already at capacity, and bookings are continuing to spill into neighbouring towns across the region.
The power of AgQuip is that we have all the brands, all the support, all the information ...
- KATE NUGENT, event organiser
Entrance gates are open from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, August 20, and Wednesday, August 21, and from 9am to 4pm on Thursday, August 22.
"AgQuip has risen above and beyond - it is as big as it has ever been and that is a testimony to Australian industry, and a testimony to our agricultural companies from near and far," Ms Nugent said.
This year a Rural Relief Precinct has been established where 16 individual stalls will offer information, services and support for all things drought.
"The support is there - it is real, the precinct will be there for farmers and families to find out what help is available, and staff to help apply for it then and there," Ms Nugent said.
"All indications lead us to believe we will also see strong attendance from farmers and primary industry people from all over the nation offering a time for talking, supporting and caring.
"It demonstrates the industry on both sides continues to value and place a vast importance on the face-to-face connections, direct farmer feedback they get at the event and offering a social meeting place for rural Australia."
This year will see a new Agriculture, Innovation and Marketing (AIM) centre that will have back-to-back workshops, seminars and presentations covering hot topics, new products, sustainability, smart farming, and mental and physical health.
"The power of AgQuip is that we have all the brands, all the support, all the information, and more than 100 new companies coming on site to display," Ms Nugent said.
"Visitors can walk in to a massive agrisupermarket and find products and information on everything and anything - as well as a real sense of community."
