German manufacturer Hatz Diesel's ultra-compact H50 series has expanded and the newest variant, the 3H50, will be on show at AgQuip.
Sami Almogawish, managing director of Hatz Diesel Australia, said the new Hatz Diesel three-cylinder diesel engine is an important addition to the water-cooled H50 series.
"Bigger is not always better," Mr Almogawish said.
"When you are running small or mobile machinery, you really want to use the most compact, lightweight engine you can.
"But you still want to be getting the power you need to do the job.
"Like the more powerful four-cylinder 4H50, the new three-cylinder variant is the latest engine in its power class."
According to Mr Almogawish, the H50 series delivers 18.4 to 62Kw of power and offers unsurpassed fuel efficiency.
There are also added benefits such as green credentials.
"Hatz Diesel is leading the Australian market in emissions standards," Mr Almogawish said.
"The new water-cooled H50 series is already T4 and T5 compliant.
"Our established air-cooled diesel engines aren't far behind either."
Hatz Diesel celebrated 35 years as an Australian subsidiary in 2018.
Renowned for long engine life, Hatz is backed by 140 years of German engineering and innovation.
