The 2019 Louth races are done and they were well and truly dusted.
Strong wind gusts during the night and the morning had the dust flying, however as the day progressed the wind subsided and a great days racing was had by all.
The Rodney Robb stables in Nyngan produced four of the days winners including Austin who along with Tamworth based apprentice Wendy Peel crossed the finish line over 10 lengths ahead of their nearest rival in the 2019 Landmark Walsh Hughes Louth Cup.
In the fashions in the field, congratulations went to Josie Anderson, from "Omarh Downs", Cobar who was named the best dressed lady while Michelle Meyers from Mudgee and Daisy Armstrong from Griffith were this year's runners up.
Mikaela Bowden from Bourke was named this year's best dressed local lady and Peter Whitehead from Coonamble was this year's best dressed gent with Shayne Carroll from the North Bourke Bridge Inn and Brent Taunion from Moree the runner's up.
The title of Mr and Ms Personality of Louth went to Jarrod Wilson from Grenfell and Jack Beath from Canowindra who made a lovely bride.
