AgQuip kicked off in Gunnedah this morning.
About 3000 companies have filled the site for 47th year ensuring another "full house" and the event is still free for visitors with about 10,000 expected to walk through the gates.
"This is a positive sign," said Australian Community Media's Rural Events group manager Kate Nugent.
"Companies that haven't been with us for a while have returned, existing companies have expanded their display areas and the demand from new exhibitors has been significant," Ms Nugent said.
Bumper crowds are expected through the gates on August 20, with a record amount of more than 800 exhibitors, and 3000 companies on site.

"AgQuip has risen above and beyond - it is as big as it has ever been and that is a testimony to Australian industry, and a testimony to our agricultural companies from near and far," Ms Nugent said.
