THERE are at least 11 young sires belonging to the Danehill sireline who will be represented with their first foals this stud season.
Two of these horses include Pariah - a son of Danehill's multiple champion Australian sire Redoute's Choice and who lost his life earlier this year, and Lord Of The Sky - a bay horse who introduces a new branch of the long deceased and lasting influential stallion, Danerich.
Standing at the ever-growing Kingstar Farm on the eastern side of Denman, Lord Of The Sky stands alongside two other Danehill linesire stallions Salade (by Snitzel) and Bullet Point (Fastnet Rock) whose first yearlings sold up to $110,000 earlier this year.
By successful sire Danerich, Lord Of The Sky was an outstanding Melbourne galloper who won seven races including three Group races. He was also twice Group 1 placed, and should be recalled when splitting champions Chautauqua and Terravista in the ATC T J Smith Stakes-G1 in a memorable Randwick showdown.

A $1m track earner, Lord Of The Sky is bred on a similar Danzig/Danehill line sire over a Bletchingly line mare cross to that of champion sires Redoute's Choice and I Am Invincible.
It should be noted the I Am Invincible now commands Australia's highest advertised service fee of $247,500.
Lord Of The Sky covered an array of mares at his first season last year. These include Sydney winning Lonhro mare Amarachi, eight times winning Al Maher mare Cinnamon Carter (won $253,000), winning Royal Academy mare Constitute, stakes producing mare Cruff I'm Good, triple city winning Archway mare Macquina, and Showusyourcugats, a four times winner of Kingmambo sire King Cugat.
Lovers of Redoute's Choice rushed Pariah at his first stud season with the flashy bay covering 143 mares at his first season. These included nine stakes producing matrons (one being Top Cuban), as well as 14 stakes winning mares.
Pariah won the ATC Canonbury Stakes-G3 on debut at Rosehill, then went on to finish second in the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes at Caulfield in his juvenile year. He brilliantly returned to racing as a spring three-year-old taking the renowned Sydney speed test San Domenico Stakes-G3, before finishing second in the ATC Run To The Rose-G2.
Pariah's attributes spills to his pedigree the horse being a three-quarter-brother to a leading Australasian three-year-old Melito, who was also honoured as a NSW champion filly, after she almost won $2m.
With a pedigree cross of Danehill and Mr Prospector, Pariah was produced from triple winning Hussonet mare Secluded.
