The 2019 Field Days on September 17-19 will feature more than 1200 sites across 105 hectares.
Field days chief executive Belinda Anderson said one of the new attractions this year will be a presentation with The Rock's Jo Palmer, who was this month was named the 2019 AgriFutures Rural Women's Award National Winner.
Other drawcards include the daily sheep and yard dog trials, Natural Fibre Fashion Awards, reptile display, and the Farm Gate Produce Market pavilion with cooking demonstrations.
"The preparations are going great. There is certainly a lot of activity on site and a lot of machinery being offloaded and set up," Mrs Anderson said.
"The number of exhibitors is on par with other years; I think we are up to 830.
"We estimate there will be well over 3000 businesses on site and in prior years we had well over $150 million worth of products."
Mrs Anderson said the annual event was a great boost for Henty and the region with 25 community groups being involved with fundraising during the field days.
At Henty's only pub, Doodle Cooma Arms Hotel, publican Alison Baldock was looking forward to her first field days since taking over the lease earlier this year.
"We're very, very busy," she said.
"We're fully booked out. We're opening all week for dinner, which we usually don't."
Greater Hume Shire mayor Heather Wilton said preparing for the field days "was a big job for a country community."
"It's a great opportunity for fundrasing for all sorts of clubs and schools and they've all got a task allocated," she said.
"It's outside money, generally, that's coming into those groups and communities.
"From the town's point of view, I know that the Henty community works very hard to make their town very presentable and uses it as an opportunity to show off.
"Everyone in the shire has a big red-hot go."
Mrs Anderson reminded Field Days Attendees and all drivers using the roads around Henty during the event to take care on the road and be aware of changed traffic conditions.
