The feature garden, 'Hillsbrae', at Sandigo, has developed gradually over the past 40 years, changing many times to adapt to family life and needs.
Mature trees are a feature of the garden that is protected by borders of century old Peppercorn trees.
A majestic Morton Bay Fig tree and a beautiful White Cedar tree are family favourites.
Lilly Pilly and Plumbago hedges are complimented by beds of David Austin roses, perennials and shrubbery.
The outdoor living area is softened with the use of ornamental grapevines and fernery.

The open day will raise vital funds for the work of the local branch of Can Assist.
Commencing at 9am the gardens will remain open until 5pm.
Cost is $20 per person for entry to all gardens and includes a complimentary Devonshire Tea at the Uniting Church Hall.
Tickets can be purchased from Narrandera's Marie Bashir Park from 9am until 2.30pm on the day.
A low cost plant stall will be available at the Uniting Church Hall.
A $10 light lunch is available in the garden at 'Hillsbrae'.
