Sidekick fastest Kubota UTV yet

It is Kubota's fastest utility vehicle yet, with a powerful 48 horsepower petrol engine, delivering speeds of up to 64 kilometres per hour.

Designed for easy handling at any speed, the Sidekick offers a comfortable drive with its enhanced speed-sensitive Electronic Power Steering (EPS), improving both handling and stability.

Available at Kubota dealerships from November 2019, the RTV-XG850 offers more speed and versatility.

"Kubota customers can confidently get more work done in less time," a Kubota spokesman said.

"The Sidekick is ready to take on any task or terrain, with the perfect balance of comfortable styling, convenient features, and strong, durable Kubota performance.

"The Sidekick's quick acceleration and high transport speed are delivered through a powerful petrol engine.

"This is combined with a worry-free Continuously Variable Transmission with Centrifugal Clutch.

"The RTV-XG850 Sidekick's rugged, water-cooled engine.

"This provides plenty of torque for a quick and smooth take-off."

The Sidekick is built to handle a wide range of hauling jobs, from gear and supplies, to tools and materials.

And it can carry up to 15.2 cubic feet or 454 kilograms in a rugged steel cargo box with optional electric over hydraulic lift for fast and effortless dumping.

Towing a heavy trailer is possible with the Sidekick.

The standard trailer hitch provides 907kg of towing capacity on level terrain.

"With a new smart ergonomic digital panel, sports steering wheel and shift knob, bright LED headlights, and a ton of convenience features, the Kubota Sidekick has everything you need and more," the spokesman said.

"The Sidekick will be offered in two distinct colours - Kubota orange, and Special Black.

"A full-line of new attachments and accessory options, developed specifically for the Sidekick will be available for customers, enhancing their RTV driving experience, adding even more comfort and customised preferences."
