While it was a tad dusty at this year's Mungery Picnics, everyone on course had a great day and for some an even a better night out watching the NRL grand final and live music from the Tall Puppy Syndrome.
The 2019 Agfarm Mungery Picnic Cup over 1750 metres was won by the Rodney Robb Nyngan-trained Relaxed, which was ridden by Moruya based jockey Maddison Wright.
With $4000 in cash and prizes on offer for the Fashions On The Field events, the judges had a lot of entrants to consider for the 10 different categories.
Mungery's little lass and little lad was Kiri Rivera from Condobolin and Matthew Cooper from Dubbo, with Millie Wright also from Dubbo named fancy filly.
Dynamic duo went to Emma Crisp from Orange and Josh Wallace from Narromine, while Josie Anderson from Cobar took home the prizes for the most magnificent millinery.
This year's stunning stallion and Miss Mungery were Lachlan Cusack and Emma Nixon, both from Dubbo.
Anthony Hall from "Waverley", Dubbo, was the judge's pick for most handsome gentleman with top honours going to Michelle Meyers from Mudgee, who was named the day's most elegant lady.
