LOOKS like Mother Nature has lost her calendar.
Motorists travelling between Bathurst and Lithgow have been warned to take it easy following reports of snow and ice on the road at Yetholme.
Roads and Maritime Services' Live Traffic website says the unseasonal conditions are impacting traffic in both directions and motorists are advised to allow extra travel time.
The spring snow, which started about 1pm, will also create an unwelcome hazard for the thousands of drivers making their way to Bathurst for this weekend's Bathurst 1000.

It came as the temperature across the Bathurst region dropped from a top of about 15 degrees Celsius at 11am today to just 8.7 degrees at 1.30pm - and an apparent temperature of just 4.9 degrees.
There have also been patchy showers across Bathurst with about 10mm of rain falling at Bathurst Airport in just an hour but virtually none in the CBD.
Further possible showers are forecast tomorrow, clearing on Sunday.
Snow has also been reported at the top of Mount Canobolas in Orange.
