General Scarlet, a four-year-old bay gelding by Arlington who is trained in Tamworth by Luke Morgan and was ridden by Tamworth-based apprentice Wendy Peel took line honours in this year's Dandy Cup.
Despite the arrival of yet another dust storm, the fashionista's lined up for the chance to be named the overall best dressed and win a $2000 travel voucher from Jacy Richards Inbalance Travel, Narromine.
First prize in the cutest girl and boy at the race meeting went to Willow Brotherton and George Hutton, both from Narromine, with Peter Gainsford, also from Narromine, named the best dressed gent while Kirsty Colliver from Dubbo was the judge's pick for the best contemporary lady.
However the title of overall best dressed went to this year's best dressed classic lady, Lizzy Richardson from Narromine.
