The gates opened to a reasonably large turn-out of visitors on Thursday, the first of three days of the 2019 Australian National Field Days at Borenore, just outside Orange.
Features today was the official opening with the Dean Family's Dean Trailers (Dean Farm Equipment) Bowral, being awarded a certificate of appreciation by the ANFD committee for attending the company's 50th field day.
As well, the judging of The Land Machine of Excellence was conducted with Offsider Ag Equipment, Killarney, Queensland, the winner with their Spin-a-Calf one person mechanical solution to calf handling.
Feature exhibit this year is the Central West Beef Week organisation which has near 90 head of beef cattle representing 16 breeds on display by Central West stud breeders.
The field days continue on Friday and Saturday.
