EARLIER: Dangerous fire conditions are expected across the Northern Tablelands and north coast on Tuesday. New England has been classified as 'Extreme'.
Under these conditions, fires will spread quickly.
Based on the latest forecast, the NSW Rural Fire Service has mapped the most likely path of these fires. These are predictions based on the best available information.
If you are in an area likely to be impacted by fires and you are not prepared, the RFS recommend you leave to a safer location before the worst of the conditions on Tuesday. This may include going to a major built-up area such as a town or a city.
These are dangerous conditions. Because of the large number of fires already burning, if you need help during a fire, you may not get it.
