Bells 'N' Bows made it three wins in a row for Nyngan trainer Rodney Robb when the five year old Starcraft mare won the 2019 QUBE Logistics Cotton Cup over 1600 metres.

However, it was the final race of the day, the 2019 Kurri Kurri 50m Sprint which had everyone on course watching to see who would cross the finish line first.

While 17 nominations had been taken, a number of late scratchings resulted in a field of 14 taking to the track with the outsider, Jay No E taking line honours in the Kurri Kurri Boys annual pilgrimage inland to Warren.

In the Queensland Cotton Fashions On the Field Lady of the Day was won by the stylish Liliana Birchall, a bold and beautiful Carmen Holden-Smith was named first runner up and the ever bubbly and bright Michelle Meyers second runner up with all three ladies travelling from Mudgee for the day.

In the Local Lady of the Day top honours went to Penny Eins while Julie Scott was the judges' pick for runner up.

Doug Hodges from Parkes, was this year's best dressed gent with Mark Sayers and Ian Hinton from Warren named the runners-up.
