Saturday and Sunday, January 11 and 12, will see the 92nd annual Bowral Show being run at Bong Bong Picnic Race Course, Kangaloon Road, East Bowral.
Bowral Show is renowned as a great little country show that is different from the average agricultural show.
There are no side shows. But don't let that deter you, as the committee believe it is a positive.
"People love bringing their horses out as there is plenty of room to warm-up, park and camp and because it is so quiet, they love bringing young horses for a first look around," a spokesman said.
"There is a great two-day jumping program also which hosts the derby event like a mini steeple-chase up and down the big hill.
"Jumping can be pre-entered through Global Entries Online or enter on the day.
"Stables and camping are available also.
"There is plenty on offer outside the show rings and we like to keep it all about agriculture and fun for the kids.
"With Sunday becoming a bit of a kids day, we have Down Under Working Dogs running displays, a pet show, dog high jump, and mini trots.
"This year is the inaugural hobby horse races.
"We are hoping to see children bringing along their hobby horse dressed up of course and have some fun in the races.
"There will also be a prize for the best dressed."
There is always a high quality display in the pavilion exhibit to look at.
