They sold through Corcoran Parker, Wodonga, and were yard weaned steers of Witherswood, Anvil and Riga Angus bloodlines, that Deepdale had been on for 15 years.
At nine to 10-months-old the steers were grass assured and vendor bred, drenched in July with Eclipse and vaccinated with Selenium, B12 and Ultravac 5 in 1.
Down in breeding numbers, Mr Clarke said he is currently running 400 cows and has chosen to keep his heifers but sell all his steers.
"We are going okay (seasonally) ... all the steers are here (being sold)," he said.
"We run cattle at Mansfield, and suprisingly the steers are 20kg heavier compared to last year."
