For more than 100 years, St Hilda's School has provided an environment for girls' education and a caring, community life for more than 180 boarders from Years 6 to 12, representing families from rural Australia, interstate and overseas.
"As a Boarding School, we understand the changing needs of our girls as they grow older," St Hilda's School acting principal, Wendy Lauman said.
"When they leave us at the end of Year 12, we want our boarders to be able to take their places as young women who are ready to pursue their goals.
"We want them ready to explore their world and contribute to their community as well-informed, compassionate and deep thinkers.
"St Hilda's boarding staff are qualified in residential care and provide a warm, respectful environment, facilitating communication with families, academic support and after-school and weekend activities.
"St Hilda's has helped to nurture the success stories of thousands of women around the world.
"Many are now leading the way in industries from medicine to finance, professional services to property, fashion to journalism, agriculture to international affairs."
Career advice, pastoral care, access to mentors and partnerships with universities provide students with a firm foundation and clear pathway to achieving their unique dreams.
In 2018, 74 percent of St Hilda's graduates achieved OP1-10, 21% above the state average.
Over 90% of students went to university after graduating, and 56 students graduated with a total of 73 VET qualifications.
"While we take great pride in these results, we are equally proud that St Hilda's girls are passionate about learning and contributing to their school, as well as to local and global communities," Ms Lauman said.
Non Nobis Solum - Not For Ourselves Alone - is at the heart of St Hilda's School.
St Hilda's School's 2021 scholarship testing will take place Friday, February 28.
