Traditional methods of plunge dipping has been doing a great job in getting rid of lice.
But, it seems that re-infestation is occurring on an ever increasing scale.
Farmers can no longer wait, especially if they have long wool, to deal with lice.
"The Electrodip is so quick and easy to use," a company spokesman said.
"You can put through about 1500 sheep per hour and the Electrodip has sides that adjust automatically to the size of the sheep.
"Also, it only uses the amount of chemical you need to be retained on the sheep.
"With the Electrodip, you control the timing and volume of the treatments.
"You can deal with the problem as soon as it occurs, instead of waiting for a contractor.
"Fresh chemical is used every time so there is no decrease in efficacy.
"After extensive travelling throughout Australia and on farm feedback from farmers, we have developed nozzles that increase the coverage around the sheep with no wool on.
"We also have wheels that can be fitted to existing pump and motors for ease of movement, as well as a leadout ramp to help with animal flow.
'The Electrodip has been proven effective by independent trials, farmers, veterinarians and contractors."
