A DROUGHT-AFFECTED farmer near Trangie has had a flock of sheep stolen with police calling on information from the public.
The theft of 31 cross-bred ewe lambs, from a property between Trangie and Dandaloo, occurred between January 22 and February 2, NSW Police rural crime investigators say.
"The lambs were around six to seven months old and tagged with a green tag, PIC NJ221565," State Rural Crime Co-ordinator Detective Inspector Cameron Whiteside said.
He has called on anyone with information about this theft to contact the rural crime investigator at Mudgee Police Station on 6372 8599 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
