Carcoar weaner steers sell to $1305

James Carr, Funny Hill, Binda, with his agent Marcus Schembri, Nutrien, Bathurst, sold several pens of August/September-drop Angus steers and heifers at the Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange (CTLX), Carcoar, weaner sale last Friday. His pen of 288kg Angus sold for $1195 a head and were awarded the best presented pen of steers.

AFTER a fortnight of patchy rain across the state and the forecast of more to come, it's little surprise the market for weaner steers and heifers was dearer last week.
