Cooma Associated Agents yarded 1100 lambs and 1650 sheep for their fortnightly sale today, with Landmark, Cooma agent Damien Roach reporting numbers were back due to rain across the region.
"The usual turnout of buyers were there with a few store orders from the Riverina," he said.
"Local bidding was subdued due to the dearer market."
Mr Roach quoted only a few heavy pens of lambs were offered with the tops making $231.20 on account Hobbs Range.
The majority of the store lambs sold between $110 and $130 with R and N Miners selling eight crossbreds for $120.
That category saw a rise of $15 - $20 on last sale.
Lambs straight of their mothers sold to $160 for 61 on account D and C McDonald.
Mr Roach reported the majority of the heavy mutton pens was tightly contested by the usual processors and topped at $230.20 for a pen of 28 Merino ewes on account J.W and M.W Barry.
"Light mutton made from $70 to $120 and overall the sale was $20 - $25 dearer across the board," he said.
Other vendor quotes included 54 Merino wether lambs, October-19 drop sold by L.A, M.C and B.E Weston for $62.
G.M and S.M Williams sold 104 four and half year August-shorn Merino ewes for $201 and D and C McDonald sold 28 CFA August-shorn Merino ewes for $185.
