The past year has been a challenge for farming communities and the importance of shows is all the more evident during difficult times as they are a great way to bring communities together.
As an agricultural, horticultural and pastoral association, Bathurst Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association take their objectives very seriously.
"We aren't just a show society - we're here to promote, educate and develop," Executive Secretary Bathurst Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Association Brett Kenworthy said.
"Like rural life through history we have had our ups and downs and each year we see the community gather together to celebrate the outstanding contribution agriculture makes to our region.
"The show is celebrating its 162nd year, 152nd show and 27th year as the Royal Bathurst Show.
"Not only do they offer the opportunity to showcase the talents of the art, craft, produce and cookery in the visually stunning heritage pavilions, there is the wide range of agricultural exhibits."
