With the current COVID-19 restrictions in place, Local Land Services has made adjustments to the way landholders collect baits from the LLS offices.
Riverina landholders can still order baits, only the way they collect them has changed.
For the safety of customers and staff, Riverina Local Land Services offices are now by appointment only, but services are still available to landholders, according to manager Biosecurity Michael Leane.
"Many landholders normally collect baits in a group at a local pick up point, but unfortunately that can't happen in the current circumstances," Mr Leane said.
"We have systems in place to allow them to collect safely though so baiting programs can still be implemented. It's imperative we don't have a break in pest control this year because we'll feel the effects for years to come.
Mr Leane said Riverina landholders could collect baits on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week, between 10am and 2pm from their nominated local office.
However, strict processes must be followed by both staff and customers on exchange.
Landholders are encouraged to contact their Local Land Services office directly to be stepped through the conditions in place during this period.
