A MAN has been charged over the alleged theft of diesel from a rural property near Whitton last week.
The 48-year-old was arrested and charged on Thursday, April 9, after the theft occurring earlier that morning.
Murrumbidgee Rural Crime Investigators identified the man and two other persons in his company entering the property and stealing diesel from an irrigation bore pump diesel tank.
The man was charged with aggravated trespass in company and stealing diesel.
He has been refused bail and appeared before Griffith Local Court on Friday, April 10 for a bail application.
