The Boarding Schools Expo is gearing up for its 16th Expo in 2021.
While this year's event has been cancelled, families still have a host of resources online to help them choose the right boarding school to suit their needs.
Simply visit the Expo website to find the latest information on education, go behind the scenes of boarding schools, and hear from education experts.
"The Boarding Schools Expo is more than just an event," said BSE convenor Meg Bennett, who started the Expo 16 years ago.
"COVID-19 is not going to stop families researching boarding options in the short term.
"We will continue to provide a link between school boarding communities and prospective families through our website, eNewsletter and our social media channels.
"We have a great deal of content to come over the next few months. Please subscribe to our eNewsletter for updates.
"Stay safe, be kind and know that we're thinking of you all."
Next year's events will be held in Dubbo, Griffith, Wagga Wagga and Narrabri between May and July.
The Expo helps families navigate the vast array of educational opportunities available in NSW and interstate.
The Expo makes the process of making the tough decisions on education a whole lot easier. The 50 boarding schools from Victoria, NSW and the ACT, and Queensland continue to recognise the importance of BSE.
Knox Grammar School, Wahroonga, head of enrolments Martin Gooding said BSE provided a vital service.
"Recently I received an email from one of our rural boarding parents, written while in the tractor sorting cattle feed.
"That's the world we live in, that's the future. And that is why education has never been more important, and boarding never more important as an option, in allowing rural students to meet the future, and create the future.
"Knox Grammar School is totally committed to working with rural families, to provide sustained and sustainable access to boarding, and regards BSE, as a vital connection with rural families.
"BSE, through its exhibitions across the state, and its comprehensive website, provides extensive information about boarding itself, and many schools, so families can make an informed decision about their children's education, and help find a school which will develop their children socially, personally, and academically.
"BSE provides not just the information the parents need, but, ultimately, the assurance they need.
"Knox Grammar School wholeheartedly joins with, and supports, BSE."
