The tiny outback community of Mossgiel knows no boundaries.
They have been named junior cricket initiative of the year for the Cricket NSW 'A Sport for All' awards where they were up against city counterparts.
At Mossgiel there are 11 registered players aged from four to eight-years-old who signed up for the Woolworths' Blast Cricket program last season.
Sometimes they played on the outback pitch but when it was windy and dusty they picked up the stumps to head indoors to the Mossgiel community hall.

Organiser Laura Stalley said during the drought the program was started to benefit children and their families socially, physically and mentally.
"Living remotely our kids don't have the opportunity to play weekend sport, so it was great for them to learn," Mrs Stalley said.
"It proves you can play cricket anywhere and you don't have to have heaps of kids to be able to do it.
"We hope it encourages other communities to start one up for themselves."
They now vie for the Cricket Australia title.
