Inglebrae Farms Angus sale was standing room only at their third annual sale at Tenterfield on Friday.
The stud sold all 23 bulls on offer for a 100 per cent clearance and an average of $7780.
With 52 registered bidders in attendance and 18 bidders online, bidding was thick and fast with 20 buyers taking home a bull.
The Millah Murrah Hallmark L58 son, Inglebrae Farms Hallmark P98 reached a stud record top price of $27,500 to commercial breeder Jennifer Kelby of Nowlan Farms, Backmede.
Ms Kelby is a keen follower of estimated breeding values (EBVs) and had her short list marked prior to the sale. With assistance from her agent she picked out the sire for his outstanding phenotype and +19 milk.
The 23-month-old bull was a favourite of Inglebrae Farm manager Darren Battistuzzi, born 38kg and presented at 844 kilograms in the ring.
Ms Kelby also purchased Inglebrae Farms Hallmark P74, a paternal half brother to their top price bull for $6000.
Other purchasers to take home two bulls included Brian Smith and BJS Farming of Tenterfield.
Speaking after the sale, Mr Battistuzzi was very pleased with the results and only sorry he didn't have more bulls for the registered bidders.
The auction was conducted by Ray White Tenterfield and Warwick with Blake O'Reilly, Ray White, as auctioneer.
