Dubbo city has hosted several large stud stock industry events recently including the return of the National show and sale of the Dorper and White Dorper breeds, Merino National and Kidman Poll Hereford and Angus sales.
Visitors from near and far came to the area to attend the events to purchase new bloodlines for their herds and flocks.
At the Dorper fixture a world record was set at $50,000 when the reserve senior champion from Dell stud, Moama, sold to a large breeding commercial flock in the Cunnamulla region.
The Carlow brothers (Nelson and Randall) and families of Kidman Poll Hereford and Angus studs attracted a crowd at their sale at Dulcidene, just north of Dubbo.
Of note.. every event was well organised for COVID health conditions and people kept their respective distances.
