Working dog enthusiasts will gather at Geurie under covid restrictions on Saturday, September 26 for the Geurie Golden Collar Working Dog auction.
Co-organiser Ryan Johnston, said last year a dog sold for a top at $10,000 and the catalogue averaged a little more than $3500 with dogs selling to four states
To be held at the Geurie Recreation Reserve and racecourse ground the day commences from 1pm with some working dog demonstrations, followed by the auction at 3pm.
Twelve vendors had entered 21 Border Collie and Kelpie dogs for sale ranging in age from four months to 5.5 years and the sale will be interfaced with AuctionsPlus.
