There was complete clearance at the annual on-property sheep sale at Wyvern Station, Carrathool when T.A Field Estates offered 8,826 for sale, including 2339 mixed-age ewes and 6487 lambs.
Top price for the Hazeldean-blood ewes was $310 for 325 May/June 2019-drop, August-shorn weighing 51.2kg.
The pen of 300 2015 drop ewes, September-shorn and weighing 74kg sold for $240.
The top priced pen of 1388 unshorn May/June 2020 drop wether lambs weighing 43kg sold for $144.
The pen of 697 unshorn May/June 2020 drop wethers weighing 43kg sold for $142, while another pen of 694 wether lambs same description sold for $140.
