For his 30th annual unhoused ram sale, Jono Merriman, Merrignee Merino stud, Boorowa stud principal and manager offered 90 superfine, fine and fine/medium horn and poll rams.
The 2020 sale ram averages are 18.2 micron, 2.9 S.D., 16.0 C.V., 17.2 Spin F and 99.3 percent Comfort Factor.
The sale realised 84/90 sold to a top price of $4500 and average of $2259.
The top price was paid by Steve Merriman, Yass for a Merino ram with the figures of 17.4m, 2.5 SD, 14.4 CV, 16.1 Spin F, 99.7pc CF and 158 GFWpc.
Reflecting on the sale results, Jono Merriman said he had presented a good lineup of 12 month rams and was very pleased his clients had been able to secure their pick of the draft.
"It was a good selection of rams and there was strong competition across the catalogue," he said.
The sale was settled Elders, Boorowa with auctioneer Aaron Seaman taking the bids.
