A MAN has died after the tractor he was driving flipped at a property near Leeton yesterday afternoon.
Believed to be in his mid-60s, the man was driving the tractor at an orchard on Stringer Road at Corbie Hill when the front of the machine reportedly lifted into the air and flipped.
A spokeswoman for NSW Police said the man was believed to be the occupant of the property.
"Emergency services were called to the incident at about 1pm on Thursday," she said.
"Unfortunately, the man died at the scene."
Specialist rescue units were also called to attend the scene, including an emergency helicopter.
SafeWork NSW is investigating the incident, as well as police who will prepare a report for the Coroner.
The man is yet to be formally identified.
