University of Sydney veterinary students have put down their stethoscopes and stripped off their lab coats to raise money for Australian farmers, families and rural communities who are doing it tough on the land.
For almost a decade, University of Sydney veterinary students have bared all to raise money for a charity of their choice.
This year 100 per cent of funds raised will be donated to Aussie Helpers following the severity of the drought, catastrophic bushfires, flash flooding and now coronavirus pandemic - all of which have devastated rural Australian communities in 2020.
Camden Farm Student Society vice president Clemence King said after going viral in recent years and attracting international attention, this annual calendar tradition is looking to raise more funds than ever before to help those in need.
She said the photoshoot for this year's calendar occurred at a number of the university's farms, a dairy owned by the Biffin family, and a private animal-devoted residence that were all within the Camden area.
"The students bare all to creatures great and small, on tractors, in sheds, (and) in water," she said.
However, special efforts were made this year to warn nearby residents and to be wary of accidental onlookers from traffic on nearby roads after some "gentle but firm advice" from teaching staff to behave themselves.
