Last week's Spring PINK Races, is part of the annual Pink-Up Mudgee month.
Each year the Mudgee region shines pink during the month of October raising funds for the McGrath Foundation during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Unfortunately, a sudden downpour midway through the afternoon left the already damp track unsafe for the remainder of the meeting.
Off the track, the fashions in the field was another casualty of the wet weather with only Marcus Pitomac from Wellington taking home the prize for the best dressed boy.
