THE 'Postcards from the Fire' photographic exhibition at the Mogo Gallery has been hugely successful and will continue into next month.
Creative Arts Batemans Bay Incorporated has now moved to the Village Centre Batemans Bay, opposite Kmart, thanks to the support of centre management.
The 'Postcards from the Fire' exhibition will now be hosted at the Village Centre until December 9.
Creative Arts Batemans Bay president Robert Creed said to date more than 750 catalogues of the exhibited photographs had been sold, but organisers were just managing to keep up with demand.
"This is not the end, we are still asking you to share your South Coast bushfire experience through your photographs and stories," he said.
"Your memories of this tragedy, that unfolded over the course of our spring/summer months, are important to the overall picture of this landmark community exhibition," said Mr Creed.
"By sharing your personal experiences through your photographs and stories, you are playing a significant role in helping us all understand the effects, large and small, on our community as a whole."
Photographs and stories can be uploaded to the organisation's website by the following avenues: www.postcardsfromthefire.com, postcardsfromthefire@gmail.com, http://www.facebook.com/pg/postcardsfromthefire/about and https://www.instagram.com @postcardsfromthefire/
"Traditionally storytelling is a very powerful healing tool as a means to understand where we were then and are now, and provide a path forward towards healing and recovery," said Mr Creed.
"To preserve your story for the future, CABBI is also proposing to conduct a more expansive South Coast bushfire oral history project following the exhibition.
"We also hope people will add their names to a list of interviewees for the oral history project," he said.
