ONE of Ellerston Onassis Polo's best ever stallions is once again set to roam the grounds of the 30,000 hectare property thanks to state-of-the-art technology.
Norman Pentaquad, a prized polo stallion, which died in 2012, was cloned in a lab in South Carolina recently.
Helped by DNA saved from the horse all those years ago, Norman Pentaquad's clone was welcomed into the world on Monday.

Ellerston manager Robert Teague said the team was excited the procedure was successful.
"Norman was born yesterday [Monday] and is doing well," Mr Teague told The Land.
Ellerston Onassis Polo has already acquired horses from Argentina to mate with the cloned version of the stallion.
"As part of our long-term horse breeding program at Ellerston Onassis Polo, we have brought stallions over from Argentina to cross with our Ellerston foundation mares," Mr Teague said.
"Then these offspring will breed with Norman Pentaquad's clone, an old Ellerston stallion."
