Banning floodplain harvesting will not magically flick the climate back to pre-2000 conditions when Menindee supplied, on average, 39 per cent of South Australia's Murray Darling Basin Plan entitlements, according to NSW Irrigators' Council chief executive officer, Claire Miller.
