The inaugural on-property Sans Souci Australian White stud sale at Attunga on Tuesday was declared a great success.
A total of 47 lots were offered for a 98 per cent clearance and an average of $2234.
The top price of $4250 was reached twice for lot four and 14, which featured Tattykeel and Red Hill bloodlines, and was secured by Karl Price from Cavendish in Victoria along with Summerlea Farms from Devenish in Victoria.
Rams were sold to a large area of NSW and Victoria with AuctionsPlus bidding on 78 per cent of the lots and purchasing 46 per cent of the rams.
Volume buyer was Brian Spackman from Bendick Murrell near Young who purchased seven lots via AuctionsPlus to average $2035.
Vendor Joe Pederick was pleased with the sale, especially being their first.
"I would like to thank our supporters and wish them the best with there purchasers," he said.
The sale was conducted by Elders Tamworth with Lincoln McKinlay as auctioneer.
