Restocker demand for breeding females continues unabated

Restocker demand for breeding females continues unabated with values very strong at Fridays store sale at SELX Yass.

There was 225 head listed and the auction was interfaced with AuctionsPlus.

Top price at $3700 was paid for ten Charolais cows, three to eight years with calves and PTIC to Angus bull.

The cows weighed 560kg while their calves weighed 209kg.

Three Charolais cows, six years and PTIC to Minamurra Speckle Park bull sold for $2200 while four PTIC Angus cows, six years and weighing 706kg sold for $2310 and three PTIC black baldy cows with calves sold for $2950.

Four Angus heifers, 16-17 months, 433kg and joined to Angus bull sold for $1800: eight Speckle Park heifers, 20-22 months, 446kg and PTIC to Angus bull sold for $2380 and ten Angus cross heifers, 381kg sold for $1625.

A pen of nine Limousin steers, 15-18 months and 425kg sold for $1920 while five Speckle Park weaners, six-seven months and weighing 311kg sold for $1720.
