LAST YEAR'S supreme Miniature Hereford exhibit made a return this year to defend his title, and he won.
Palisade Ernie exhibited by Sue Parish of Palisade Miniature Hereford stud, Bringelly, was the four-year-old grand champion bull that impressed judge Renae Keith, Allenae Angus and Poll Herefords, Roslyn, and associate Emily Polsen, Grace Valley Livestock, Yass.

Claiming his second consecutive supreme title and third grand champion bull win at the Canberra event, Ernie was by Malloon Kellen and out of Palisade Ashley.
He was the sole bull entry of the competition.

"It was the length, depth and amount of carcase, while maintaining softness, that the bull carried that got him over the cow today," judge Mrs Keith said.
Grand champion female went to Palisade Donna also exhibited by Sue Parish of Palisade stud.
Like her rival she was also a third time grand champion winner at the Canberra event, this year showing with a heifer calf at foot.
By Palisade Ghandi and out of Palisade Barbra, she is just over four years of age.
"The cow and calf in champion is the most complete package in the females," Mrs Keith said.
"She has the length but it is the overall softness and good coat type that got her over the other females today.
"The calf behind the cow really compliments her, and makes her a nice package."
Junior champion female went to Palisade Ivy, a daughter of Winwood Errol, and reserve senior champion female went to Palisade Gloria, a daughter of Palisade Dolby.
