FOR the first time in 60 odd years, the Dubbo Shorthorn National Show and Sale has added a third agent to their catalogue; Ray White Livestock GTSM.
Director James Brown said they hope to bring a different angle and fresh approach to help promote the show and sale to their broad network of people.

"The timing was right, and we felt their was an opportunity to present to the committee our proposal to be a third selling agent, which was accepted for a three year initial term," he said.
"We look forward to promoting the sale through our channels. We have a broad reach that stretches throughout the Northern Territory, right across Queensland and the eastern seaboard and into South Australia."
It provides vendors with a third option on who they entrust their sale cattle to Mr Brown said, and they will do what they do at every stud sale; do the best for the vendors and their clients.
Ray White GSTM stud stock agent Ryan Morris, Young, said they recognise the Dubbo Shorthorn National as the one-stop-shop for the best Shorthorn bulls in Australia, and for the agency to be apart of that is a great opportunity.

"It is the meeting of the best of the best Shorthorn bulls on offer in the country," he said.
"For purchasers in the commercial world, they know to go to Shorthorn National at Dubbo. It is a well-known event.
"It is a place where commercial buyers can buy into high quality bulls with confidence, but also where stud opportunities exist."
With a proud history of 62 years, it is the longest running national in Australia.
"We are grateful to have been given the exciting opportunity to market bulls within the Shorthorn breed on a national level," Mr Morris said.
"It is a big event for the social side of things also. It is not just a bull sale, but a meeting place for likeminded (commercial and stud) breeders and an opportunity to discuss bulls and the breed.
"The inception of the heifer sale several years ago also presents a great opportunity to buy high quality females."
With a long history of involvement with the Shorthorn breed, Mr Morris said the strength of the sale is in the breeders who are always putting forward good quality cattle, that buyers can buy with confidence.
"The quality is growing every year, and we look forward to facilitating in the process of finding homes," he said.
Currently involved in some capacity in around 55 stud sales per year, this will be the Ray White agency's first national.
The Shorthorn National will take place June 15 to 16 at Dubbo Showgrounds. It will also be interfaced with Elite Livestock Auctions.
Selling agents will include Elders, Nutrien, and Ray White Livestock GTSM.
