One of the biggest line-ups of young auctioneers competed at the Sydney Royal last week.
The Land's Lucy Kinbacher was there to capture all the action across both the ALPA NSW Young Auctioneers Competition and ALPA National Young Auctioneers Competition which attracted 26 entrants due to COVID-19 disruptions last year.
Queensland's Liam Kirkwood of Ray White Livestock, Townsville took home the highly contested national trophy ahead of runner up New South Welshman Sam Smith of Kevin Miller, Whitty, Lennon and Co, (KMWL) Forbes.
The 2021 ALPA NSW Young Auctioneers Competition preceded the national event and saw Will Claridge, C.L. Squires and Co, Inverell take out the top spot, followed by Jake McKenzie of Duncombe and Co Pty Ltd, Crookwell as runner up.
