'Carcase without compromise' was this years theme for the Lucas family, Reiland Angus, Killimicat, when they offered 70 rising two-year-old bulls for sale.
Stud co-principal Mark Lucas noted the studs focus is on maximising clients business performance via sensible industry relevant trait focus that avoids extremities that can impact negativity on maintaining or developing productive, fertile cow bases to reliably produce a quality saleable offspring animals.
Reiland Angus works with industry breeding consultants to ensure their breeding objectives align with grass based enterprises that revolve around Angus constitution, fertility, growth and desirable carcase a tribute for the supply chain and consumer satisfaction.
During the recent Reiland Premier Angus Breeder Sale, commercial Reiland-blood Angus cows with calves sold to $4800 which equalled the Australian record.
Mr Lucas noted the stud celebrates 50 years of breeding Angus and to celebrate will be having a registered female sale next year.
"This is an incredible time for beef producers," he said.
"We have a good season from top to bottom and good prices which aren't going away for two to three years while the herd is rebuilding."

The equal top priced bull Reiland Queanbeyan Q477 was was purchased by longtime supporters Houston Pastoral Co, Burrowye, Victoria.
Also paying $22,000 was Wermatong Pty Ltd, Tooma, who bought Reiland Quartile Q1080.
At $21,000 Reiland Quick Q933 was purchased by longtime supporters Houston Pastoral Co, Burrowye, Victoria.
The 20-month-old son of USA18229488 Baldridge Compass weighed 756kg with scrotal measurement of 40cm.
Also at $21,000 Reiland Quenn Q323 was bought by Houston Pastoral Co.
The 21-month son of WWELS Esselmont Lotto L3 weighed 804kg with scrotal measurement of 40cm.
At $19,000 Reiland Quinn Q390 was bought by Riverview Wallah and co, Rugby.
The 20-month son of HIONM20 Ayrvale Mercury M20 weighed 742kg with 41ccm scrotal measurement.
At $18,000 Reiland Quack Q1083 was bought by Bunya Creek Angus, Dalby, QLD.
At $17,000 Reiland Que Q971 was purchased by Houston Pastoral Co, Burrowye, Victoria.
At $16,000 Reiland Quota Q973 was purchased by Houston Pastoral Co, Burrowye, Victoria.
The 20-month-old son of USA18170041 Sydgen Enhance from a daughter of The Grange Iconic weighed 826kg and had a scrotal measurement of 38cm.
At $16,000 bull Reiland Qantas Q941 was bought by Proudfoot Agriculture, Crookwell.
The son of WWEL3 Esselmont Lotto L3 weighed 814kg with scrotal measurement of 40cm.
At $16,000 Reiland Quinlan Q433 was Riverview Wallah and Co, Rugby.
The sale was settled by Elders, Gundagai, while Michael Glasser, Ray White GTSM, Albury, was the auctioneer.
