Over 800 racegoers travelled to Tomingley for the running of the 2021 Alkane Resources Tomingley Picnic Cup.
The feature race was won by the Doug Gorrel, Canberra trained Keep Me Posted. The eight year old bay gelding by Golden Snake was ridden by Anaelle Gangotena. In the fashions on the field Caleb Light from Tomingley and Josie Anderson from Dubbo were the judges' pick for best dressed junior male and female.
The best dressed lady and gent on the day was Trish Wendland from Dubbo and Bruce McLean from Narromine, while Casey McGaw and Will Suttor from Bathurst were named the best dressed couple and Abby Skinner from Coonabarabran had the day's most outstanding millinery.
