With the pandemic many have suffered. Melbourne has gone through four lockdowns, state borders have been closed and families have been split. But during a recent COVID alert at Gundagai (no cases have been reported) someone was able to see the light side a little. The Dog on the Tuckerbox was COVID prepared.

Now let's go a bit further east and south. A crazy weather system saw snow dumped up right to Queensland last week. But an enthusiastic snow lover was somehow able to create a snowman on a Far South Coast beach. They'd brought the snow down from Nimmatabel.
We've all heard (or are in) about the mice plague, but has anyone seen the rabbit infestation on the major hill before Parliament House in Canberra? Here's an exclusive pic: (note the ACT flag flies proudly there).
And don't forget to hang out like this magpie at the National Arboretum in Canberra and enjoy the beautiful land that is Australia.
Take a deep breath, smell the gum leaves or the Himalayan cedars (pictured), enjoy the beach or the snow, hang out on a lonely bench and perhaps consider for a little while, how lucky we are amid all the things that have been thrown at us.
