A 38-year-old man was rushed to hospital on Saturday afternoon after an incident at a property near Cassilis, where he fell off a horse which subsequently rolled on top of him.
He was then taken immediately to the John Hunter Hospital, where he was reported to be in a serious condition after arriving in Newcastle. WRHS was also called to assist with the urgent medical transfer of a three-year-old boy at Tamworth hospital on Saturday afternoon who was suffering from a medical condition.
The boy required specialist treatment, and was transported by an aircraft medical team to John Hunter Hospital, where he was reported to be in a stable condition.
