Regional NSW sites added to COVID-19 exposure list.


A swathe of the NSW Central West will go into lockdown from midnight Tuesday, July 20.

A crisis cabinet meeting decided Orange, Blayney and the Cabonne Shire will be lcoked down for seven days.

Nineteen new COVID-19 exposure sites have been added to the growing list of venues involved the state's latest outbreak, and that includes multiple sites in regional New South Wales.

Five exposure sites across Orange have been identified as the region prepares to battle the fallout from a positive COVID-19 case in the city.

It is understood a decision is to be made soon on the Central West city's potential lockdown.

A worker from the Nestle Factory in Blayney tested positive for the virus on Tuesday, and it's been revealed that worked stopped at a number of sites on Friday, July 16, and Saturday, July 17, in Orange.

Infected customers also visited an Officeworks, Woolworths, Pizza Hut and shopping centre in Orange - west of the city as well as a Coles Express in Goulburn, southwest of Sydney.

NSW has recorded 78 new Covid-19 cases overnight, but 27 were out in the community while infectious

New exposure sites

Anyone who has visited the following locations during the listed times is considered a close contact and must get tested immediately and quarantine for 14 days regardless of the result:

  • Auburn: Advanced Medical Centre, Tuesday July 13 from 3:30pm to 3:55pm and Thursday July 15 from 2:30pm to 2:55pm
  • Lakemba: Isra Medical Centre, Sunday July 18 from 6:00pm to 6:30pm
  • Lakemba: Ibby's Seafood Restaurant, Sunday July 11 from 1pm to 2pm
  • Lakemba: United Medical Centre, Thursday July 15 from 3:30pm to 4pm
  • Wiley Park: Pharmasave Wiley Park, Monday July 12 from 9:00am to 9:20am
  • Sydney: Swift Recovery Agency, all day on Wednesday July 14, Thursday July 15 and Friday July 16
  • Goulburn: Coles Express, Friday July 16 from 11:50pm to 12pm
  • Orange: EG Fuelco Australia, Saturday July 17 from 5:45pm to 6pm
  • Orange: Officeworks Orange, Saturday July 17 from 4:35pm to 5:05pm
  • Orange: Woolworths North Orange Shopping Centre from Friday July 16 from 3:00pm to 3:30pm and Saturday July 17 from 1:20pm to 1:50pm
  • Orange: Pizza Hut, Saturday July 17 from 4:55pm to 5:05pm
  • Orange: CTC Orange, North Orange Shopping Centre, Saturday July 17 from 1:50pm to 2:00pm
  • Bankstown: Chemist Warehouse, Saturday July 17 from 3:10pm to 3:20pm
