The Handypiece team in New Zealand are working hard to keep up with demand internationally.
Customer diversity is growing, with the Handypiece still being used primarily for sheep work, followed closely by cow farmers trimming cow's tails and branding.
Other uses vary from alpaca and goat shearing to TB testing of deer and grass sampling.
"I have received comments from users such as it is the best tool on the farm other than their tractor," a Handypiece spokesman said.
"Others have said they don't want to ever have to drag another ewe over the board again now that they are in the swing of using the Handypiece.
"Hearing this feedback is really rewarding for the Handypiece team."
The newest model is 100 grams lighter than a standard handpiece with a powerful brushless motor.
It means limited heat build up, resulting in a winning combination.
The Handypiece Pro has the added feature of variable speed from 2400 to 3500rpm.
"It operates well at a mid-speed of 2700 rpm for dagging, crutching and trimming cows tails," the spokesman said.
Anyone wanting to get a nice cut while shearing can wind the Handypiece all of the way up to 3500rpm.

"The brushless motor now means the battery lasts even longer and it is possible to crutch between 300 and 400 sheep from one charge."
Handypiece kits include a 12 amp per hour lithium battery and battery charger.
The kit also includes a belt, holster and pouch, and a five metre extension cord.
The kit is completed with a purposely designed carry kit bag.
