For the past decade, regional agribusiness Converte has been supporting farmers to drive extra productivity and health in agricultural systems.

The Converte product range includes seed treatments, soil inputs, foliar applications, animal supplements, fulvic acids and the newly released Bio-Restore liquid carbon.

Farmers are embracing products that feed soil microbes and reaping the benefits of improved soil biological function.

Importantly, in times of climate variability Converte's products help to build extra resilience, retain more moisture and improve the availability and cycling of nutrients.

Healthy soils make NPK fertiliser inputs work more efficiently, converting nitrogen to plant available forms and releasing locked up phosphorus in the soil.

This allows farmers to use both chemical and fertiliser inputs more efficiently while building soil wealth.

Improved biology makes crops more resilient to all kinds of stresses whether it be drought, heat, frost or insect pests.

On top of that, Converte managing director John Ridley reports that latest research shows a net economic return to the farmer on using its Plantfood product of over $100 per hectare.

"That's sustainable farming that puts money back in the farmers pocket while building future soil wealth," he said.
